ABOUT US

About Us

Since childhood, Wayne has loved old cars, especially the ones from the ’30’s, ’40’s and ’50’s. As a teenager, he knew he wanted a career in either music or working in some way, on old cars. When the music career didn’t pan out, Wayne, along with his mom, took a night class in upholstery at the local community college.

Working out of his parents carport and dining room, Wayne began doing custom interiors for his friends which led to opening M&M in 1982. Since the shop was originally opened along with his mother, who reupholstered furniture, M&M actually stands for McGriff & McGriff, but Wayne always jokes that it really stands for “Me & Mom”.

Since the beginning, Pamela has always been a big part of M&M. Working an outside job, she helped in the shop on nights and weekends. By the late ’80’s, when a full time helper was needed, Pam was the obvious choice. Since then M&M grew, eventually outgrowing all the additions made to the old shop and opening our current 3200 sq ft one beside our home in 1999.

We have been fortunate over the years to work on some outstanding cars from all over the United States. Both home built and pro built.

We take scheduled appointments and are normally booked out 8-12 months.
