About Us

In business since 1982, we are M&M Hot Rod Interiors -- a full-service custom upholstery shop, specializing in hot rods, classic, custom and musclecars.

We (owners Pamela and Wayne McGriff) originally opened our doors as M&M Custom Upholstery, and in 1992, began specializing in street rods and custom interiors exclusively. Our 3200 sq. ft. shop is located next to our home in Holly Pond, AL, which is located in North Central AL., an hour's drive north of Birmingham.

We are very fortunate to work on cars from all over the country. Our work has been featured in all the major magazines. Including our own ’32 Roadster and shop profile in the November 2002 Southern Rodder, our ’47 Ford Coupe in the October 2006 Street Rod Builder, to our current project, a pro-touring 1972 Monte Carlo (you can catch a glimpse of the rendering in the February 2008 Popular HotRodding Magazine).

Our work has garnered many awards, most notably to date: Three Great 8 Ridler Finalists, 2007 Millwinder winner at Houston (photos online soon), Consistant Top 25 picks at Shades of the Past and Grand Run Pro’s Picks at NSRA & Goodguys events, 2005 Goodguys Street Rod Truck of the year, and numerous "Best of show", "Best Custom", "Best Rod" & "Outstanding Interior" awards at ISCA, Super Chevy, and Local Shows all over the country.

We stay booked 8-10 months at a time, creating one of a kind interiors designed to fit the style of the car. We use only the best leather, wools and carpets from around the world, and we are dealers for Dynamat & use their Extreme product exclusively.

Everything is done in house, from custom built seats & consoles, to convertible tops. Our panels are made from 1/8” Luan, P.V.C. Plastic & Aluminum. We also install stereo systems and power windows. We are also dealers for many major suppliers of street rod parts and accessories, enabling us to offer the widest possible variety when designing and assembling an interior.
